Turning Mission into Measurable Impact
This session will focus on helping nonprofits clearly translate mission-driven work into measurable outcomes that resonate with funders, reviewers, and public agencies. Participants will gain insight into how funders evaluate programs, what “measurable” truly means, and how to strengthen grant narratives with clarity and purpose.

Featured Speaker: Angi Lee
Angi Lee is a highly accomplished leader in the criminal justice, mental health, and nonprofit sectors, with more than 25 years of experience spanning program development, funding acquisition, and organizational leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Dayton and completed advanced studies in Criminal Justice Administration at Tiffin University.
Currently, Angi serves as Chief of the Office of Grants and Resources Development at the Ohio Department of Health, where she oversees funding strategy, partnership development, and collaboration with state agencies and community organizations. She brings over 20 years of hands-on grant experience, including proposal development, grant training for local and state partners, and service as a grant reviewer for state, federal, local, and nonprofit foundation funding.
Angi has also served on numerous nonprofit boards, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Board (Vice-Chair), Stockhands Horses for Healing, Star House, Driven Foundation, and Family Mentor Foundation. From 2019 to 2022, she served as Executive Director of Safe Harbor Peer Support Services, leading the organization to achieve CARF Accreditation while expanding programming and strengthening fiscal sustainability.
Her leadership has been recognized statewide, including a proclamation from Ohio Governor John Kasich for contributions to the Southeastern Recovery and Opiate Conference, as well as recognition by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and national correctional leadership publications.
