TURN OF THE WHEEL EVENTS “OSTARA” – spring equinox Sunday 22nd March | 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
As the earth tips toward the light, and day and night stand in perfect balance, we invite you to the Upwey Wishing Well to celebrate Ostara.
Winter is receding, and the momentum of Spring is building. This is the moment when seeds begin to germinate, the land turns decisively green, and we find ourselves ready for fresh starts and new growth.
Led by Ellie Brooks of Earth Kin Events, this gathering offers a gentle space to pause and acknowledge the turning season. We will gather for an afternoon of:
Spoken Storytelling: Tales of renewal, fertility, and the awakening world that mirror the quickening pace of the landscape around us.
A Shared Spring Feast: Enjoy a seasonal feasting tray featuring the bright, crisp flavours of early Spring. Menu includes: nourish bowl, roasted root vegetables, hummus, roasted beets, falafel, spring salad with toasted seeds, roasted walnuts and beetroot dressing, mini cake and chai tea.
Reflection: A moment to consider what you are planting in your own life this year and how you will tend it as the days grow longer.
