Your favourite event featuring Turkish Street Food, Turkish beer and raki is back. We’re proud to introduce a new venue to our community this time, Mezepotamia!
2025 is going to be a different year, with many changes overseas and in Australia. The importance of a strong network is even more important as we navigate this new year.
Turkish Connection is the only networking event in Sydney with the aim of bringing us together. By getting together, we socialise,bond and learn more about each other. Togetherness creates unity and strength, which are essential parts of a community.
Our events always attract a diverse crowd. Our newest members meet and mingle with our long-term members. Connections are initiated, business cards exchanged, social media accounts linked.
Informal setting and cocktail type of event means it is easier to move around, if you want to. Yet you can just sit down and enjoy a drink with friends you haven’t caught up with.
Mezepotamia is one of the newest Turkish restaurants in Sydney. The team behind it has a great hospitality background including Efendy. We loved their food which is an innovative combination of Turkish flavours with a modern Aussie twist. They’re designing a special menu for us and they can’t wait to show off their Turkish Street Food inspired menu.
This is a great opportunity to catch up with your friends! Use this event as an excuse and invite friends you haven’t caught up with in a while instead of complaining about not catching up, lol.
This is a ticketed event, and no tickets will be sold at the door.
Venue: 99 Redfern St, Redfern. 5 minute walk from Redfern Train Station, easy on street parking and very close to the city.
Ticket: $22 - Your ticket will get you entry to the networking event and your welcome drink (beer, wine or soft drink) is included. $1 from your ticket is going to be donated to a charity.
Food: Turkish Street Food, Efes, Raki, meze as well as other drinks and cocktails. Stay tuned for the menu.
Why is it ticketed? Ticket fee covers the event expenses, such as venue hire, staff, ticketing costs.
