Join us at Trenta Restaurant in Wolfeboro for an informative presentation on wild turkeys by NH Fish and Game Wildlife Biologist and Turkey Project leader, Dan Ellingwood. We’ll begin with check‑in and social time at 4:00pm, followed by the main presentation. We’ll wrap up the evening with time for questions and discussion. Light refreshments, coffee, and tea will be provided throughout, and a cash bar will be available.

Daniel Ellingwood grew up in Hancock, NH. He earned a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut in 2014 and an M.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of New Hampshire in 2018. From 2018 to 2024, he worked for a private, non‑profit conservation organization focused on ungulate research and management. Since January 2025, he has served as the Turkey Project Leader for NH Fish & Game’s Wildlife Division
Dan's presentation will provide an overview of wild turkey ecology, a history of wild turkeys in New Hampshire, turkey management and population monitoring techniques, and an update on the turkey research project that is now underway in the state.
