Turkey Dinner XV will take place on the normal day & time. Black Friday 11/28/23 @ Noon.Time & route is subject to change due to weather and # of riders. Regardless of the route choice we will be going up Turkey Dinner Hill (AKA Nicholas Road Climb: https://www.strava.com/segments/1384826).
Minimum distance is 20 miles. Max is up to whatever we all decide, but don't expect me to agree to much more.
I want to point out bthat this is NOT a hammer ride. If you want to hammer, this ride isn’t for you. With that said, some might hammer up Turkey Dinner hill. Feel free to do so but I will be stopping at the top to regroup. If the group splits up at any other point, we will soft pedal to get the group back together. If needed, we will pull over at a safe spot and wait for anyone that fell off the back.
I have limited parking in my driveway. If the yard is dry, we can utilize it once the driveway fills up. Otherwise, over flow parking will be about 1/4mile away at Compton park.
Once we're done your welcome to hang out and have a drink with us. Bring your favorite beverage.
A road bike is the suggested bike of choice. Gravel if there’s any trace of snow. A mountain bike if there is some accumulation and a fat bike if there's a lot of accumulation.
This ridbe takes place regardless of the weather, dress accordingly!
