Our Turf Games Women’s Training workshops are an event to connect with like minded women, meet new people, gain confidence in yourself and in your training, learn new skills and develop the knowledge to work with your body to tap into your full potential and become the best version of you!
Whether you are currently training on your own, with friends or you are looking to get into functional fitness, this is the event for you.
Hosted by Turf Games Ambassador, athlete, coach and nutritionist Becs Sandwith, and Turf Games Ambassador, athlete and coach Leesh Brown.
This Lifting focused workshop will fully break down the hang clean and jerk movement ahead of the Sydney Fittest in the City competition. Whether you know how to do these and are looking for technique assistance or you've never tried and want to give it a go then this workshop is for you.
The event will begin with the lifting session followed by a fun Turf style team based workout. After this we will have a cool down and refuel with refreshments from our partners. We will then move into an education session where Becs will talk about how to fuel adequately for the training that you are doing and specifically for Turf competitions, getting you primed and ready for FITC Sydney... followed by a Q&A.
