Dr. Gary Brierley, Civil Engineer and Drury High School graduate is an internationally known tunneling expert who dedicated his career early-on to mining and tunneling projects, earning the engineering nickname of “Dr. Mole”.Gary will discuss Hoosac Tunnel construction techniques, and follow with a fascinating “how” the Hoosac Tunnel would be planned, dug, & constructed in 2026.
