About this Event
Tunes of Yesteryear: A Parlor Concert Series invites audiences to step back in time and enjoy the music of the mid-late Victorian era through the height of the Jazz Age. Presented in the intimate setting of Spring Hill's parlor room, this Saturday afternoon series brings history to life through song.
Each concert features live performances of music that would have been familiar to past generations such as sacred hymns, operatic and operetta favorites, parlor ballads, art songs, ragtime, early jazz, and selections performed in the style of the era. These performances are presented by talented local musicians, whose artistry and passion help connect our community to its musical past.
Held on Saturdays in March at 1:00 pm, Tunes of Yesteryear offers a musical experience in an atmosphere that feels both personal and immersive. This free concert series is open to the public; however, advance registration is required due to limited seating in the historic parlor.
