ABOUT THE POET: BRINDA DAS
Born in the misty hills of Shillong and shaped by 13 years in Bangalore, I’m a creative soul drawn to painting, writing and books. My work appears in 15+ national and global anthologies, and I’m the author of Echoes of Becoming. Fuelled by strong coffee, grounded by my parents and happily ruled by my cat, Smollu, I find wonder in both the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Book synopsis: A tender, messy and deeply human collection, this poetry book invites readers into the small moments that make life ache and glow at the same time. These poems move through love and loss, quiet joy and stubborn sadness, capturing the contradictions we carry and the feelings we don’t always know how to name. Some pieces land softly, others linger and ask questions; but all of them are honest. This is a book for dog-eared pages, late-night reading and anyone who has ever felt too much and tried to make sense of it anyway.
