Our longest running eco-stewardship projects takes place every Tuesday at 10am from May to October!Join us at the Blue Water River Walk, a 1-mile stretch of restored shoreline on the St. Clair River in downtown Port Huron. Invasive plants along the Blue Water River Walk are among the greatest threats to wildlife habitat because they outcompete the native plants that wildlife need for food and shelter. We work every Tuesday to remove invasive plants, care for native plants, and monitor pollinators, birds and other wildlife.
Become a community scientist and hone your identification skills by attending a Tuesday Trek!
Location: 2210 Military Street (SOUTH entrance of park). No prior experience or skills required. Email our Restoration Coordinator at [email protected] for more info.
Thank you to the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission and the Community Foundation of St. Clair County for supporting our stewardship and restoration activities at the Blue Water River Walk and Wetlands County Park.
