However ....
this year the numbers at the Tuesday night dances have gradually declined, with only seven dancers last time. We are a Contra Dance club after all but with fewer than twelve dancers, we cannot dance Contras. This is dispiriting for the dancers and especially the callers who become very restricted in what they can call. It is also a long way to travel (for some) for little gain and of course it is not financially viable for the club. So its Last Chance Saloon time .. we are holding two dances in September. If the numbers do not increase then its Hasta la Vista .. we shall become a Saturday night only club with dances in April, September, October and November.
