The IStructE Tuesday Group are very excited to announce an exclusive bus tour of Hinkley Point C.
Attendees will be required to be at Hinkley Point C (HPC) Cannington Park and Ride at 9:30am by the latest, we recommend that you arrive there by 9:15am. This park and ride is accessible via the M5 motorway. Bridgewater railway station is the closest station to the park and ride, approx 4 miles drive.
As this is high security tour, visitors will need a valid passport or driving licence on arrival. We will be sending a list of attendees to Hinkley Point C prior to the event. Once paid, please send [email protected] your full name and date of birth (if over 18) as this is required for access.

The tour details are as below:
09:30 Arrive at HPC Cannington Park and Ride, met by tour guides, visitors ID verified, passes
issued followed by Welcome brief to include security checks
09:50 Transport to Cannington Court (Bus stop, Cannington High St) on SPS Bus, walk across to Cannington Court, Security Lodge
- Arrive at Security Lodge
- Head to Hinkley Point Visitor Centre to familiarise yourself with HPC Project
- Refreshments are available to purchase from the Brassage (time allowing and if
required)
10:50 Depart Hinkley Point Visitor Centre, accompanied by tour guides, via Security Lodge,
return passes, walk to bus stop, Cannington High Street to board SPS Bus
11:00 Travel to HPC South Plaza for Site Tour
11:15 Arrive at HPC South Plaza
12:00 Depart Site and travel back to HPC Cannington Park and Ride
12:15 Approximate arrival at HPC Cannington Park and Ride for safe onward journey
