This skating session is a bonus session part of Women's Community Skating group which offers skating sessions for women and non-binary people around Swansea. The session is to allow women of our group to share the experience of skating with their loved ones - both men and children.
Sessions are £5 (cash) for the adults and £4 for children.
We will put music on and you are free to skate round the hall or practice some moves in the middle.
The rules for this are below:
- All children MUST wear a skating helmet (a cycling helmet is not suitable), wrist pads, knee pads, and elbow pads.
- The legal parent/guardian will be responsible for signing the liability waiver on behalf of the child.
- the legal parent/guardian must be with their child during the session. We don't provide lessons so you will be helping your child learn the ropes.
- Children are not to be left unattended by the parent/guardian. You are responsible for your own child's safety.
- Dads/men are welcome to attend if they are bringing their daughters and/or attending with a female friend/partner.
- This can be treated as a normal session for our members - women are welcome to come along solo.
- This can be treated like our +1 sessions - men can come along with group members (women).
