In collaboration with the Museum of Texas Tech University and the Lubbock Lake Landmark, we are thrilled to kick off this season of AstroNights! Join us on Friday, October 10th, from 7:30–9:30 PM at the Lubbock Lake Landmark for an evening under the stars. The program will feature a public science talk by Prof. Elias Aydi, titled “Stars That Might Light Up Our Sky at Any Moment.” Prof. Aydi will share the fascinating stories of stars in our Galaxy that could explode at any time, creating dazzling new lights in our night sky.You’ll also have the chance to:
