Try Sled Hockey for Free with the Tampa Bay Lightning!Join us for an unforgettable experience on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, as the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Development Team host a Try Sled Hockey for Free event at Nest Hockey Academy in Wesley Chapel! This is your chance to hit the ice, try something new, and discover the fast-paced, exciting world of sled hockey.
This free clinic is open to children and adults of all ages and abilities—no prior experience or equipment is required. Our Lightning staff and members of the Tampa Bay Lightning Sled Hockey Team will guide participants through the basics in a fun and welcoming environment. We’ll provide sleds, helmets, elbow pads, and gloves—just come dressed in warm clothes and closed-toe shoes!
Event Schedule:
1:00 PM – Check-in
1:30 PM – On-Ice Clinic Begins
2:30 PM – On-Ice Clinic Ends
