About this Event
Welcome to Truth or Dare with Strangers!
This event is all about laughter and getting out of your comfort zone (responsibly) while making new friends. Whether you’re outgoing or shy, everyone is welcome to join in.
How the Game Works
- Everyone grabs food and drink (not included in ticket)
- Everyone answers 3 unorthodox questions to get to know each other
- Everyone adds their own truth or dare questions to the Truth or Dare Baggies
- The game begins by the Assailant pointing the Truth or Dare Gun at the first Victim
- The Assailant picks out the Victim's Fate and hands it to them to complete.
- At the end of 3 rounds, a winner will be chosen to receive the prize.
Rules
- Nothing Extreme: All truths and dares must stay fun, respectful, safe, and confidential. Think silly and comfort-zone expanding, not outright scary or rude.
- Chicken Out Rule: If the Victim chickens out, the Assailant must pick another Fate from the Baggie. If they chicken out again, they must pay a sincere compliment to someone there.
- Supreme Rule: Your host is the final judge on what counts. His word is law.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to play Truth or Dare if I come?
A: Not at all! You can just hang out, watch, and join in when you feel comfortable.
Q: What if I’m shy?
A: This event is designed to be welcoming, offering an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone only if you want to. You can ease into the fun at your own pace—no pressure.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Just yourself and a good attitude! Drinks and food are available at Queen St. Fare.
Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: Yes, this event is 19+ since it’s hosted at a venue with alcohol service.

A: Absolutely. All dares must stay fun, safe, and within comfort levels—consent and respect are the top priorities.
Q: Do I need to come with friends?
A: Nope! Many people will be coming solo. The whole point is to meet new people and make unexpected connections. But bring friens if you can – the more the merrier.

Q: Is there a cost to attend?
A: The event itself is free to join. Just cover your own drinks or snacks at the venue.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Arrive on time to get settled in—we’ll kick things off with intros and then jump into the fun!
Q: Can I leave early if I need to?
A: Of course. You’re welcome to join or leave whenever works for you.
Q: What are you doing after?
A: Some people will go home, some will go out to nearby bars and clubs.
About the Host
Hi, my name is Thor Simonsen. Because of ADD, I'm super easily bored. My biggest dare ever was posing nude for an art class (it was the scariest thing I've ever done and I would never dare anyone else to do anything nearly that intense). I love talking to stangers, making new friends, and learning new things in funny ways. I'm originally from the Faroe Islands slash Nunavut. For work, I make music and invest in real estate. You can learn more about me at www.thorsimonsen.com. Hope to see you there! :)
