Trumpet Mafia From its organic beginnings in 2013 as a group of trumpeters getting together at bandleader, composer and educator, Ashlin Parkers New Orleans apartment to share practice techniques, the Trumpet Mafia has grown into an international collective of creative excellence. Their unexpected arrangements mix traditional jazz and hip-hop. Since 2016, the rotating assembly of horn players has performed energetic takeovers both in street pop-ups and at numerous festivals in New Orleans and abroad, including the New Orleans Jazz Festival and French Quarter Festival, garnering an OffBeat Magazine Best Emerging Artist Award in 2017.For this performance, the group will be joined by renown vocalist Cyrille Aime. Aime is a captivating French vocalist celebrated for her luminous tone, playful phrasing, and modern take on jazz. Inspired early by Django Reinhardt, she honed her craft performing in Paris before studying at SUNY Purchase and rising to international acclaim, earning honors from the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. She has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and collaborated with artists including Roy Hargrove, bringing warmth, spontaneity, and storytelling to both jazz standards and original music.*Showtimes for this date differ from our usual 7:30 and 9:30 PM performances in consideration of Jazz Fest.Show at 10 pm & 12amDoors at 9:30 pm & 11:30 pm*This concert is made possible with generous support from the Jazz Foundation of America. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.

This event is 13 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 13 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry. All teenage patrons must be ticketed like adults, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while inside the jazz club. All patrons must be aged 13 or older. Sorry, no children under 13 are permitted. Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro has a STRICT No Cell Phones, No Cameras Policy at all times during all showtimes inside the music room. Violation of this policy while inside the venue may result in removal from the club without ticket refunds. There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere inside the building, and there are NO PETS ALLOWED at anytime. *Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs.
