About this Event
Ages: 6 to 12
📌 Wasaga Beach Public Library membership required
Children will learn about the life cycle of brook trout, observe the fish closely, talk about their basic needs - such as water, food, and shelter - and explore the behaviours and adaptations they develop at each stage of life.
Participants will also learn about fish habitats, what it takes to raise fish in a tank, and how healthy aquatic environments help fish thrive. Through discussion and hands-on activities, we’ll explore how hatcheries support conservation, the relationships within aquatic ecosystems, and how human actions can impact fish habitats. This program encourages curiosity, observation, and environmental responsibility.
