Trouser Making Workshop with the wonderful Pascha
from this year’s Great British Sewing Bee
We are so excited to be holding this workshop with our favourite Bee from this year!!
Come along to make a pair of trousers from McCall's pattern M8206 and probably talk all things Sewing Bee!!!
There should be time to finish all variations, but you might get to the end of the day and find there are a few bits, like pockets, to finish yourself at home.
I'm sure there will far too much to talk about to concentrate solely on sewing!!
This fantastic, modern, pattern has 3 different styles of trouser to choose from, to suit confident beginners to more advanced, this workshop is not for complete beginners.
Whether it be Cuffed cargos, Wide leg utility or some flowy wide linen trousers, there is something for everyone!
Requirements:
You can choose from various stable fabrics e.g.: Twill, Denim, Chambray, Cotton and Linen.
You will need to bring fabric, interfacing, thread and notions (zip, hook and eye or buttons) with you on the day so you have the perfect fabric choice for you, the staff at Franklins can assist you with your choices, depending on which look you are going for should you need it.
Bring lunch or money to buy lunch nearby.
Bring your sewing kit, we have plenty in the classroom, but you might prefer to use your own.

We will supply:
- The pattern in your size, there will be a place to put your size option when booking. (Please remember that patterns are sized differently to shop sizes)
- Sewing machines and overlockers if required
- Tea and coffee facilities to use in the classroom
- Upstairs classroom
