Tropicals At SunsetWe all love the energy of our big Sunday swaps, but let’s be honest: sometimes it is nice to actually sit down, have a beer, and talk without 400 people moving around you. We created Tropicals At Sunset for exactly that reason. It is the relaxed, midweek version of what we do, focused more on the community and the actual "how-to" of plant parenthood.
The Vibe:
This is a small, intentional hang. We are keeping it to just 6 vendors max. This means you actually get to talk to the people growing the plants and maybe find that one "gem" you’ve been hunting for without the usual crowd.
The "Ask Maks" Segment:
If you know our VP, Maks, you know his Begonia game is on another level. He is going to be there with a few stunners from his personal collection for everyone to see. This is your chance to ask him your most desperate care questions. If your begonia is currently throwing a tantrum or dropping leaves for no reason, come talk to him. He is basically a crisis counselor for dramatic plants, and he is here to help you figure it out.
The Games:
We are running a team challenge during the event. Grab some friends, solve the challenge, and turn in your card by 7:30 PM. Think of it as a plant-focused spin on pub trivia. We will be announcing the winners at 8 who will snag some Väsen gift cards. It keeps things fun.
The Basics:
When: Tuesday, June 2
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: Väsen Brewing Company (Scott's Addition)
Food: Feel free to grab food from any of the local spots and bring it in.
Dogs: Well behaved leashed dogs are always welcome.
Access: The taproom is ground floor and fully accessible for everyone.

Want to be one of the 6 vendors for this one?The application opens tomorrow, May 2nd, at noon. Since there are only a handful of spots, they usually go fast. We are looking for people with unique stuff and a love for sharing what they know.
