Do you have an interest in tropical plants, a bit of a green thumb, and a desire to create with sand?If so, let's come together to learn about and create your very own tropical sand planter!
In this workshop, you will create your own masterpiece while learning more about the tropical plants that thrive in these types of creations. You will also learn how to care for your plants and have all of your plant questions answered!
The cost of this workshop includes:
• instruction,
• decorative rock and sand, and
• a glass bowl.
Plants for your tropical sand planter must be purchased at greengate. The cost per plant ranges from $7 to $10. Remember to bring your current Society membership card to receive 12% discount on plants!
Two people, including a child with accompanying adult, may work on the same tropical sand planter together. Please include the second person's name when registering.
If you would like to make more than one planter, please register a person for each planter you would like to make. Members may use their Bring a Friend benefit and register for two planters at member pricing!
Call the office 403.287.3469 if you need help registering for multiple planters or two people working on the same planter.
Bring gloves if you prefer to wear them while working on projects.
