About this Event
What to expect
- A trishaw ride is a brilliant, low-carbon way of exploring West Bay when you are not able to walk or cycle yourself.
- Each trishaw ride lasts around 30 minutes and is for two people.
- You will be taken along the shore to East Bay and back.

- Free, but donations appreciated on the day to Cowal Befrienders
- This event provides people with an elderly friend or relative with an opportunity to take a ride.
- Sign up and we will confirm your 30-minute timeslot.
- There are 6 slots available (two people per booked slot).
- Wrap up warm and enjoy the ride.
Meet the activity leader
Cycling Without Age is an international movement to help people of all ages enjoy the benefits of cycling by providing bikes that can carry passengers. Pioneering local charity Cowal Elderly Befrienders SCIO has two trishaws. These are regularly used by their team, powered by volunteer trishaw pilots.
About West Bay Wonder
The West Bay Wonder exhibition and activities are part of a series of events taking place over the next 18 months year to inform the development of a Local Place Plan for Dunoon.
