What to expect
- Learn what Highland place names, poetry and practical uses can tell us about our relationship with plants.
- Enjoy a walk from the pier to Castle Gardens, Hillfoot Street and along West Bay.
- Discover stories about trees, our grass-cutting habits, drinks-making, wildflowers and medicinal plants.
Good to know
- Meet at the entrance to the pier (next to Coast Coffee).
- Please dress for the outdoors and changeable weather.
- Wear comfy footwear for that’s good for walking around town for an hour.
- We will walk up some steep steps in the Castle House Gardens.
- This walk is delivered by the Dunoon Bothy and as part of West Bay Wonder.
