The Trio Arts unites three acclaimed musicians — Sam Arts (Guitar), Bob Mocarsky (Organ), and Mike CJ (Drums) — for an evening of vibrant organ jazz with a fresh, modern twist.
Their chemistry runs deep: Sam and Bob have shared intimate duet sets, while Sam and Mike forged their groove together in Groove Collective. Now, for the first time, all three join forces to create an electrifying new sound.
🎸 Sam Arts (Netherlands)
A sophisticated and soulful jazz guitarist whose lyrical phrasing and warm tone recall legends like Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery, and Pat Metheny. Sam’s musical voice bridges elegance and swing, shaped by projects such as Les Beaux Trio Arts and his long-standing collaboration with Bob Mocarsky.
🎹 Bob Mocarsky (USA)
A San Francisco-born pianist and B3 organist, Bob has spent decades shaping the Asian jazz scene, performing across Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. His résumé includes collaborations with jazz luminaries Bobby McFerrin, Maria Muldaur, Mark Murphy, Patti Austin, and instrumentalists like Eric Marienthal, Antonio Hart, Richie Cole, and Toninho Horta. Bob’s music fuses soulful improvisation with technical mastery and emotional depth.
🥁 Mike CJ (Norway)
Dynamic, inventive, and rhythmically fearless, Mike is the heartbeat of Groove Collective and now drives the Trio Arts’s sound with his explosive grooves and intuitive sensitivity.
