What began as a Friday morning Contemporary dance class has evolved into a vibrant, community based performance featuring local teachers and artists from across the Shire.
Over the past five months, we've been exploring and redefining our relationships to the mind, body, and soul, drawing inspiration from the work of visionary Francois Delsarte, whose ideas influenced many early modern dance pioneers.
"Trinity" is a rich collective tapestry of movement, music, and film composed of Northern Rivers creatives.
The performance showcases personal choreographies by participants from the Embody Your Dance course, contemporary dance students, local teachers, and artists;
including live music as well as screen dance works by Colleen Coy and Leif of Nimbin.
In a world where it's easy to stay isolated as a solo artist, this offering was created to bring together the creative voices of our community and to remind us of the power of uniting in shared expression.
