About this Event
Join us for a special performance from David Wax, the Boston-rooted songwriter and co-founder of the acclaimed indie folk band David Wax Museum.
Known for blending traditional Mexican folk with Americana, David Wax’s music creates a vibrant, cross-cultural sound often described as “Mexo-Americana.” Drawing from his time studying folk music in Mexico, his work weaves together rich rhythms, heartfelt songwriting, and an infectious, high-energy spirit.
Wax formed David Wax Museum in Boston alongside fiddler and vocalist Suz Slezak, and the group quickly gained national attention for their dynamic live shows and distinctive sound. They’ve performed at major festivals like the Newport Folk Festival and earned recognition as a breakout act within the indie folk scene.
