If you have young children and are looking for some Halloween fun which provides treats but no tricks, the Polk County Sheriff's Office has an event this year just for you! For the second year in a row, we will be putting on a trick or treat event alongside our Safe Schools Division.We are excited to provide the community with an opportunity to trick or treat with their young children safely. This is a FREE event, and will be hosted at SUN 'n FUN, on 4175 Medulla Road in Lakeland. This is not the same location as last year! This event will be one night only – Saturday, October 18th from 4-6 PM.
Food tent sponsored by Walmart and SAMS club. Food proceeds benefiting the United Way of Central Florida.

There will be entertainment and our deputies will have patrol cars and multiple stations where kids can get candy, take pictures, and have some Halloween fun! This year we will have the Gravedigger monster truck as well!
Last year was a big hit and we would love to see a big turnout again this year. So, get your best costume ready and join us on October 18th to kick off our SAFE Halloween event!
