Namaste HelsinkiMama Events x Project Bardaan collaborates for the first time to host a musical evening in tribute to legendary musician/singer/composer/arranger/guitarist Sunil Bardewa at Maijansali, Central Library Oodi. Project Bardaan led by Sharad Shakya and his band will play the superhit musical numbers by late Sunil Bardewa reminiscing the legacy of his music and composition which will live forever in the heart of Nepalese music lovers.
Sunil Bardewa was a highly regarded Nepali musician, singer, and songwriter, known for his significant impact on the country's music scene, particularly in rock and pop genres. He was recognized for his exceptional guitar skills and distinctive voice. Throughout his career, he influenced many with his fusion of traditional Nepali sounds and modern music styles. One of his notable hits, "Bihani Ma," highlights his talent in composition and singing while "Goreto Ani Ustai Cha Galli" remains the most loved song by the audience.
Though Bardewa passed away in 2016 due to liver ailments, his music remains popular, securing his lasting legacy in Nepali music.
