The Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival will make its return to Louis Armstrong Park (835 N. Rampart Street) in New Orleans on November 9-10, 2024. Admission is free and open to public.
This year, the festival will be headlined by Soul Rebels, Brass-A-Holics, Charmaine Neville Band, and Tonya Boyd-Cannon, presented by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, the nonprofit behind Jazz Fest. Admission is free and open to the public. The festival runs from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on both Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November, 10. Learn more at tremegumbofest.com
Kicking off the festival, Deacon John & the Ivories will perform at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart Street) on Friday, November 8th. Doors open at 7pm; concert begins at 8pm. Get tickets: https://bit.ly/DeaconJohn
An award-winning event, the Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival celebrates the culinary and cultural heritage of the Tremé neighborhood, offering a variety of gumbo from local chefs. Visitors will also enjoy live music that echoes Tremé’s musical legacy, from jazz and blues to brass bands. The festival includes local artisans, crafts, and activities for the youngest of fest-goers, creating an atmosphere that honors the community's history and spirit. It's a must-attend event for anyone eager to capture the authentic flavors and rhythms of New Orleans.

The Treme Creole Gumbo Festival is a presentation of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. Jazz & Heritage Community radio station WWOZ New Orleans 90.7 FM will broadcast the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival live from Lafayette Square – over the air and live-streaming video at www.wwoz.org and on the Foundation’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel.
