Trek+NICA "Try-it-out" - McKinney

Experience the thrill of mountain biking with local Texas NICA teams and Trek at our try-it-out event! Designed for 4th-12th graders, this event welcomes everyone—whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or an experienced rider looking to connect with a new team.

Parents and community members are encouraged to join, meet our dedicated NICA students and coaches, and explore opportunities to get involved as a coach or supporter. It’s a day of fun, community, and discovering the joy of mountain biking. No experience? No problem. Everyone is welcome!

Schedule:

• 9:00 a.m. Check-in
• 9:30 a.m. Safety Briefing and Separate groups (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
• 9:45 a.m. Ride starts
• 11 a.m. Ride ends

Equipment required:

• Bicycle and helmet
• Closed-toe shoes
• Water bottle or hydration pack
