This fun, family-friendly program turns participants into Tree Detectives as we explore the diverse canopy above us. We'll learn how to identify the native Kentucky trees that support our local environment and study the different parts of a tree, from its roots to its crown. The best part? We’ll use nature's own textures to create art! Everyone will make beautiful, textural leaf and bark rubbings to take home, capturing the unique patterns of our woodland giants. Come learn how to spot a native tree and leave with your own gallery of nature prints! This is an outside program, so please dress accordingly.
