Agenda

🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Guided Forest Bathing Walk
Host: Sarah DeWitt

Info: Forest bathing, or shinrin yoku, is the simple practice of taking in the woods through the senses. The benefits are numerous: boosted immunity, lowered blood pressure and heart rate, improved attention and mood, and a chance to take an intentional break from digital media and screen-time. We begin with gentle mindful movement and sensory awareness exercises, and conclude with herbal tea and light snacks that carry the essential flavors of the season.

🕑: 11:30 AM - 01:00 PM
Guided Ephemeral Earth Art Experience
Host: Jill Greenbaum

Info: Creating ephemeral earth art is multi-sensory, visceral, and enveloping. In these immersive experiences of gathering, ideating, reflecting, and creating, we develop a deeper relationship with nature and ourselves.
In this practice, inspired by Morning Altars, we learn to slow down, become keenly aware of our surroundings, and present to the moment. We forage and work with found objects—leaves, seeds, flowers, berries, rocks, feathers, and more, developing a meaningful exploration of our chosen intention through the creation of a memorial or altar. These are deep, rich, heart-opening experiences.
