Cragend Farm is opening its gates for 3 one day visits to walk the new Tree Trail that has been created over the past 15 years.With a collection of specimen trees planted by Lord Armstrong of Cragside (now a National Trust property since 1970’s) and newer plantations and ‘The Great Northumberland Forest ‘ additions, Cragend Farm is offering the opportunity to see parts of the estate not usually open to the public, to see the tree evolution from The Blackburn to the River Coquet, and up to the Cragside Estate border.
3 dates 2pm – 3.30pm:

July 7th 2026
Booking in advance required as limited numbers.
Bring sensible outdoor attire, picnic snacks in rucksack and a thermos of something hot, or cold weather dependant.
This trail is rugged and varied with wet and steep areas, craggy and pastoral areas.
