About this Event
Are you passionate about nature, the environment, and making a real difference in your local community? Come and join the The Conservation Volunteers in West Dunbartonshire! We're a friendly, hands-on group working to protect and improve local green spaces through practical conservation tasks.
In this session we'll be looking at recently planted trees in Auchnacraig Woodlands, learning to identify what species they are and assessing their health. We will also carry out some general maintenance across the site, including improving access ways and path clearance.
No experience? No problem! We welcome everyone – from seasoned conservationists to complete beginners. Tools, gloves, and training will be provided.
📍 Location:
- In this session we'll be working in Auchncraig Woodlands.
- Meeting point: Meet at the entrance to the woodlands on Auchnacraig Road/end of Waulking Mill Road

🧤 What to Bring:
- Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies recommended)
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water and a packed lunch (tea and biscuits provided)
- Enthusiasm and a love for the outdoors!
