About this Event
This planting session forms part of the council’s wider woodland creation programme, funded by the White Rose Forest, which aims to contribute to long-term carbon storage, reverse biodiversity decline and provide high quality woodlands for our communities.
This is an open session for volunteers, please feel free to stay as long as you like during the event times. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather and bring your own refreshments. Parking is available on nearby streets - please take into consideration residents when parking. Please be aware that the site is hilly in places.
Access to the planting site is down a track off Blue Bell Hill. Nearest post code is HD4 6LF. What Three Words location for the entrance to the track to the planting site is: ///intro.sounds.salads
Tools, trees and gloves will be provided.
PHOTOGRAPHY &/OR FILMING will be taking place at this event.
Please note that filming/photography is taking place at this event for promotional and archival purposes.
