Pathways To Success
The significant skills crisis within the AEC sector means attracting and retaining talent is the number one challenge our built environment sector is facing. We're bringing young people from across Kirklees together to meet industry professionals and learn about the variety of jobs and wealth of opportunity available to them.
Join us for an inspirational day with special guests discussing mind set, resilience and determination PLUS hear from Kirklees Council about local regeneration and the Cultural Heart in Huddersfield.
Local students and a mix of business professionals will enjoy a day of learning and upskilling. Together, we’ll motivate our NextGen by showcasing the best of our sector to encourage young people into STEM and our workforce, make an impact on their future and help close the skills gap.

The Power of Sport to bring people together
Our partners Front Row Support will introduce guest speakers and professional Rugby League players, Grace Field and Stevie Ward who will focus on mind-set and the transferable skills we can all use for success at work and throughout our lives.
We’ll hear about local regeneration from Kirklees Council and discuss Pathways to Success from relevant role models to excite students about careers in the built environment. Students will get to meet professionals involved in design and construction and learn how they could be involved in exciting developments right on their doorstep. We'll also participate in a workshop and have opportunity to join a site visit with Caddick.
