Join us and the Montgomery County Conservation District in honor of Earth Day on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for a tree planting at Green Lane Park! Sites will include the corner of Deep Creek and Snyder Road, and afterwards, the Bird Blind off of Route 29 that borders Knight Lake. Some tools will be provided, but please bring your own work gloves, safety glasses, shovels, trowels, and kneeling pads if you are able. Physical activity includes walking and carrying 2-3 gallon bucket saplings (20-30 lbs), digging, and kneeling/ bending. Ages 14 and up. Please park in the main lot at 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane.
