About this Event
Join us for our annual Tree of Remembrance memorial gathering on Sunday, December 1st, from 2:00-3:00 PM in Victoria Park, London Ontario. The tree is located just past the cannon monument, close to Clarence Street. The tree will once again be illuminated with white lights.
This free community gathering is an opportunity to come together with others who have experienced grief and loss. We invite you to bring a personal ornament to hang on the Tree of Remembrance in honour of your loved one(s), creating a heartfelt display of love, loss, and shared remembrance. This gathering offers a quiet, supportive space for reflection, connection, and healing as we collectively honour those we've lost.
Opening remarks will be at 2:00pm, and light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
(Please note that you are welcome to add an ornament to the tree but that Bereaved Families, and the City of London – who organizes the tree for us, can not be held responsible for damaged or missing ornaments. Please do not add large quantities of ornaments. After the holiday season any ornaments remaining on the tree will be removed and can not be returned).
Many thanks to the City of London for supporting our Tree of Remembrance.
If you'd like to have your loved one's name printed in the London Free Press' Remembrance Listing on December 24th, a minimum suggested donation $25.00 to our organization is greatly appreciated. The deadline to submit a loved one's name for the London Free Press is December 8th at midnight; submissions for names made after this date will only be listed on our website.
