On Thursday, 2 April 2026, the Planning Commission will be hearing a case to remove 30 protected trees consisting of the following:• 20 Live Oak (Greater Than 8" in Diameter)
• 7 Southern Magnolia (Greater Than 8" in Diameter)
• 2 Tupelo Gum (Greater Than 16" in Diameter)
• 1 Turkey Oak (Greater Than 16" in Diameter)
The trees are on the property near the corner of Oaklawn Road & Shorecrest Road in Woolmarket for the Hawk Creek Subdivision. The meeting will be at the Community Development building at 676 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
