What is Trec?TREC is an international equestrian sport that tests the skills, partnership, and abilities of riding over various terrains and obstacles at different speeds. The sport of TREC originated in France to test the skills of guides working in in the equestrian tourism industry.
TREC is a 3-phase sport for ALL LEVELS & ALL DISCIPLINES of riders. Whether you like fun trail rides with friends, clinics, or competitions, each phase of TREC will have you building on the skills you have learned.
This is a wonderful opportunity to school your horse on the beautiful grounds of the Carolina Horse Park.
All 3 phases of this event will be held on the cross-country course side of CHP.
Sedgefield at the Park Hunter Jumper Show will also be happening the same day with food trucks and vendors. Lots to see and do for the entire family!
As with most events at CHP, volunteers are needed. No horse experience required and training provided.
Free for spectators.
Helmets must be worn by all riders.
Safety vests encouraged on the cross country course.
A copy of current neg. coggins required with entry.
