This CPD presents an innovative, evidence-based approach to treating chronic pain informed by neuroevolutionary research.
About this Event

Research suggests that the structural model – the most dominant method in practice today - is insufficient for treating chronic pain. This CPD presents an innovative, evidence-based approach to treating chronic pain. The approach treats pain as a protective perception, a command from our consciousness to restore homeostasis. The content is informed by neuroevolutionary research, nociception, and the predictive processing model for perception. Created and delivered by Josh Fein-Brown, M.Sc, M.Ost, ND: experienced osteopath and senior lecturer at The British College of Osteopathic Medicine.
