St. Lucie has over 11,000 acres of protected land in the county. Let the Environmental Resources Department's award-winning Guided Nature Program series introduce you and your family to local wild spaces. Join an experienced guide, get outside and enjoy the natural beauty of St. Lucie County!

· Saturday, Nov 29 – Treasure Coast Habitats and Inhabitants Hike at DJ Wilcox Preserve (10:00am-12:00pm) – This program includes everything from alligators, to fire, to the impact of early humans, to native an invasive plants and more! Come explore these scrub and hammock habitats and their inhabitants!

ERD Guided Nature Program hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. GNP season now runs from September through June.
