He began playing bass guitar in a family country band in Columbus, Ohio, at 14 years old, visiting many Columbus hot spots and honky-tonk bars. Now, all these years later, and various bands, he has returned to country music, bringing his influences of punk and alternative to form his own unique brand of music.
