Veteran Newfoundland songwriter and composer Ian Foster is launching a bold new initiative called NÄRA Community this fall: a record label that will host live concerts and events, workshops, and release collaborations under the broad umbrella of ‘modern cinematic music.’ To mark the launch, Foster will be releasing a brand new album called Travelogue. The album is an instrumental sonic journey reflecting recent travels in Greece.
NÄRA Community and Ian’s album Travelogue launch on November 9th at Bannerman Brewery’s upstairs event space. Due to the presentation of the album, it will be a special listening party event with visuals, followed by a Q&A with Ian and Community Manager David Shears, and a series of live performances by Ian and special guests.
