Come on out and support the community and find great deals on gently used gear!
The Outfitters fall Gear Swap is a community event in association with Avalon Nordic Ski Club.
What will you find at Gear Swap? Outdoor Orientated Gear & Apparel
Now, most items swapped during this event are winter-related, such as skis and related ski products, snowshoes, winter outerwear, rain shells, clothing, footwear, and anything else outdoor-related (like camping gear, backpacks, etc).
Children's outdoor wear is encouraged!
Got Items to Sell?
We are accepting items at both locations.
Mount Pearl drop offs will be cut off at 2pm on Saturday Nov 8th.
Items can also be brought in and dropped off at the Gear Swap event.
This is a great opportunity to clear out your closet of gently used items that you are no longer using, or that you would like to upgrade.
Unsold items are requested to be picked up between 1pm and 5pm the same day as the Gear Swap ends.
Unfortunately, we are unable to store these items longer. However, if special accommodations need to be made, we will do our best to accommodate on an individual basis.
How to Drop Off Items
Please bring your items in a cardboard box or reusable bag if you can (we would like to avoid having plastic bags on our hands).
Please complete your forms and prices prior to dropping off your stuff.
90% of the selling price will be given to you as a Gift Card at The Outfitters.
10% of the selling price will be donated to the Avalon Nordic Ski Club.
