About this Event
Step into a space where travel and memory meet on the page. Traveling Through Poetry is a poetry workshop where we will be doing just that, inviting our poets to explore the places that have stayed with them, whether across the world or close to home – transforming those experiences and memories into vivid and meaningful verse. Through guided prompts and reflective exercises, we’ll draw on sensory details, personal moments, and emotional landscapes to capture not just where you’ve been, but how those places have shaped us.
Exploring exercises in imagery, voice, and form, we will bring these memories back to life. Whether you’ve gotten to visit your family’s homeland, gotten lost in unfamiliar streets, navigated a new language abroad, shared meaningful exchanges with a stranger, or tasted a dish that carried an entire culture, this workshop is meant for you.
Grab your ticket here on Eventbrite, or on Luma and let us know you're coming! Big thank you to Burden of Proof for being our creative hub, and our amazing NA beverage sponsor, Kiki.
