About this Event
Before organizations can provide effective trauma treatment and intervention, the individual receiving the intervention needs to feel safe. Trauma Informed organizations understand the important role that physical safety plays in treatment but may lack the knowledge about the actionable steps they can take to provide Safe Spaces and Places.
This workshop walks participants through the SAMSHA TIp 57 Trauma Informed Care in Behavioral Health Services manual and identifies elements of Trauma Informed Design. Participants will be introduced to organizational self-assessment and initial steps of action planning for their organization. This workshop provides tips and tools on how to create safe spaces and places and impact organizational change.
We are sorry, but due to the proprietary nature of the material presented, we don't record our trainings.
