Are you a yoga teacher, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, or allied health professional looking to deepen your meditation practice and expand your clinical capacity? At BIYOME, we are offering a unique opportunity to participate in a retreat-style training that cultivates compassion, love, forgiveness, and mindful presence, both for yourself and the people you work with.
This Trauma-Informed Meditation Teacher Training combines somatic mindfulness, breathwork, contemplative inquiry, and neuroscience-aligned meditation to support trauma-responsive care. You will explore evidence-based strategies for understanding the mind-body connection, the gut-brain and heart-brain axis, and how trauma impacts neurobiology, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. The training is designed to be both personally transformative and clinically relevant.
Our program is fully aligned with the Continuing Professional Development standards of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). It is also registered with Meditation Australia and Yoga Australia, ensuring your training contributes to professional recognition.
Led by Celia Roberts BSc, a senior yoga and meditation teacher with over 20 years of experience in trauma-informed mindfulness, this intensive program is grounded in a biopsychosocial and neurobiological framework. You will learn how to embody presence and attuned care, helping your clients feel safe, regulated, and supported. While the training enhances your trauma-informed capacity, it is designed as a complementary course to strengthen your meditation teaching and professional skills, not as a qualification for trauma therapy.
This specialty intensive also serves as a pathway to the 110-hour Meditation Teacher Training, officially registered with Meditation Australia, giving you the opportunity to grow your credentials as a professional meditation teacher. By integrating this training into your career, you can offer trauma-informed meditation and mindful embodiment to your clients while enhancing your professional and personal development.
Our next training is offered from Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June 2026, daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The course can be taken online or in-person at BIYOME, making it accessible for participants across Australia and beyond.
Reserve your place today and join us on this journey toward compassionate presence, professional growth, and deep personal transformation.
