About this Event
Participants will be able to identify and handle the behavioral, environmental, and programmatic factors that promote positive interactions with their youth.
Participants will become aware of their own body language, tone of voice and vocabulary when talking to a youth to prevent a crisis and promote positive outcomes.
Participants will be able to work as a team to decrease manipulation, boundaries issues and receive support from co-workers when dealing with youth pre-crisis.
Participants will be able to redirect angry youth without becoming disrespectful or aggressive.
Participants will be able to stop and think before they react to youth behaviors.
