Trauma-Informed, Culturally Responsive Methodologies

When: Friday 22nd November 1-2pm

Where: Level 7, Room 15 - VU's City campus, 370 Little Lonsdale Street

Join us to explore the intersection of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive methodologies. We hope to offer you a means to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application through the lens of trauma-informed practices within educational settings.

Learn how to create inclusive and supportive environments for individuals from diverse backgrounds. The conversation will examine the practical aspects of implementing trauma-informed strategies in schools, such as staff training, curriculum adjustments, and the creation of inclusive policies that recognize and address the specific needs of immigrant populations.
